1. Acceptance of Terms

By using DarkLedger (the "Service"), including the Discord bot and the web dashboard at darkledger.live, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

These terms apply to all users: shop owners, team members (sellers/admins), and buyers.

2. What DarkLedger Is

DarkLedger is a shop management tool for Discord servers. It allows server owners to:

• Create and track sales transactions via Discord slash commands
• Manage team members and their roles
• Configure payment methods, prices, and shop branding
• View transaction history and analytics via a web dashboard

DarkLedger is not a payment processor. It does not handle, hold, or transfer money. All payments are made directly between buyers and sellers through third-party services (PayPal, CashApp, etc.).

3. Eligibility

To use DarkLedger you must:

• Have a valid Discord account in good standing
• Comply with Discord's Terms of Service
• Be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country)
• Operate a legitimate shop — not use the Service for fraud, scams, or prohibited activities

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use DarkLedger to:

• Facilitate fraudulent transactions or scams
• Sell prohibited items (illegal goods, exploits, stolen accounts, etc.)
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the dashboard, database, or other users' data
• Use the bot to spam Discord channels or violate Discord's policies
• Reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute the Service

Violations may result in immediate termination of your access without notice.

5. Shop Owner Responsibilities

Shop owners who use DarkLedger are solely responsible for:

• The goods and services they sell
• Fulfilling transactions with buyers
• Compliance with applicable laws (consumer protection, tax, etc.)
• Managing their team members and their conduct
• Ensuring buyers are treated fairly

DarkLedger is a record-keeping tool only. We are not a party to any transaction and accept no liability for disputes between buyers and sellers.

6. Service Availability

We aim to keep DarkLedger available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may:

• Take the Service offline for maintenance with or without notice
• Modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time
• Limit or terminate access for users who violate these terms

7. Paid Plans

DarkLedger offers a free tier and a paid tier. Paid features (coupon codes, etc.) require an active paid subscription, which is activated manually by the DarkLedger team. We do not offer automated billing. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact us within 7 days of purchase.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

DarkLedger is provided "as is" without any warranty, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure, or continuously available. Use the Service at your own risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DarkLedger and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or failed transactions.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. The updated terms will be posted here with a revised date. Continued use of DarkLedger after changes constitutes acceptance.
