Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

DarkLedger ("we", "us", "our") is a Discord-based shop management bot and dashboard for Roblox Jailbreak marketplace transactions. Our service is accessible at darkledger.live and operates through a Discord bot installed into servers by shop owners.

2. What Data We Collect

We collect only the data necessary to operate the shop management service:

We do not collect email addresses, passwords, phone numbers, real names, or financial account credentials.

3. How We Use Your Data

To create and display transaction receipts in Discord
To allow shop owners to manage their sales history via the dashboard
To associate buyers and sellers with specific transactions for dispute resolution
To display purchase history to buyers via the /my_purchases command

We do not sell, share, or market your data to third parties.

4. Data Retention

Transaction records are retained for as long as the associated shop team is active. Display names and avatar URLs are cached to reduce Discord API calls and are refreshed when you interact with the bot.

You may request deletion of your personal data at any time (see Section 6).

5. Data Sharing

Your data is only accessible to:

The shop owner and admins of the team you transacted with (via their dashboard)
DarkLedger administrators, for platform support and moderation

We use Railway for hosting and PostgreSQL for our database, both of which have their own privacy and security practices.

6. Your Rights — Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your personal data at any time using the Discord bot command:

      /delete_my_data
    

This command will:

Anonymize your name on all transaction records (replaced with "Deleted User")
Delete your cached avatar from our database

Note: Transaction IDs and financial amounts are retained as business records for the shop owner even after anonymization. Your Discord User ID is retained in transactions to prevent re-association.

You may also contact us directly (see Section 8) to request a full data export or account removal.

7. Discord OAuth

When you log in to the DarkLedger dashboard, we request the identify scope from Discord. This provides us with your Discord User ID, username, and avatar. We do not request access to your email, guild list, or any other data.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of DarkLedger after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
